The father of our developer bravely served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine until 2023. He was injured by a projectile dropped on him from a drone by the occupiers.
“Why didn’t we do this earlier?” echoed in the developer’s mind, prompting him to study EW systems. This was the beginning of Wartex’s development.
Initially, we repaired systems sent by the military. It turned out that many products had poor-quality components that broke on the first day, putting soldiers at greater risk. By analyzing their performance and talking to the military, we started developing our own system. After successful testing, the decision was clear – we had to continue creating because existing solutions did not meet the needs of the soldiers.
Three things are important in war: ease, efficiency, and accessibility.
This is our philosophy.
Each soldier carries at least 20 kilograms, and the protection system should be as light as possible. Also, the soldier must be sure that the device will perform its function at the “right” moment.
However, electronic warfare devices are consumables, just like grenades. So they should be priced so that each unit has several systems with different frequencies. My team and I are striving to close these requests completely.
